Railway Place Playground, Scarborough

Head up to Scarborough at the northern end of the Peninsula and let the kids loose in this playground!

Apart from the namesake wooden train, there's heaps of other great equipment for youngsters (and the not so young). But perhaps best of all are the the huge shady trees with thick, low-hanging limbs just right for climbing.

The whole area is securely fenced and nearby barbeque and toilet facilitates make this an ideal spot for a family outing. When the kids tire of the playground, there's a safe, sandy beach just metres away. [Map Reference B4]
