Redcliffe Mousetrap Theatre
The
Mousetrap theatre was originally formed as the Redcliffe Music and
Arts Society in 1952. They moved into their own theatre, located
in the Redcliffe Showgrounds, in 1967.
The theatre's busy season typically includes major
plays, musicals, cabarets, pantomimes, one act plays and youth productions.
Check their website for current and coming shows.
Every June the Mousetrap Theatre is the host
of the Murramba Drama Festival, attracting theatrical performers
and judges from all over Queensland.
The Mousetrap also conducts a number of drama
workshops for people aged six to twenty. Young people are an area
where the theatre has a major commitment, producing more youth shows
than any other community theatre on the Peninsula.
